How we Support Volunteers

Transform Healthcare Cambodia has a growing bank of information that might be useful to aspiring volunteers.

One of THC's role is to facilitate all of this. 

The Khmer people are very thankful for anything we can provide.

 In general most volunteers feel they have also benefited hugely themselves on many levels from the experience.

The broad information areas are:

• clinical areas which consists mainly of previous presentations and reports on the service currently provided

• How a local community hospital functions.

• information for volunteers concerning general local health economics, local general information and some of the necessary paperwork

• teaching aids ( including help with teaching via a translator)

To date a wide range of health providers have volunteered. We do ask that volunteers are qualified in their area of expertise. The trips are self-funded.
